Whoa There, Cowboy!

As you can see, Jacalyn updated the looks of the place. We both like it well enough and hope you do too. It's nice to freshen up a bit from time to time.

We had a pretty good day today. We got up at the crack of noon, which is always nice. We left the house today without any major ideas or goals in mind, but as we went toward downtown Little Rock, we decided to go to the art museum place. They were having a glass exhibit, including some work done by a guy Jacalyn learned about in her Art Appreciation class in school a couple of semesters ago. It was pretty neat to see what people can do with glass these days. Sadly, pictures were not allowed of the exhibit, no matter how many people we saw trying to surreptitiously take pictures...

After going to the art gallery, we went to the library for a while. Yes, we're nerds. I found a book which will hopefully add a new depth to my understanding of John Milton's Paradise Lost, and Jacalyn got a couple of Yoga books and a Gershwin CD. She's quite fond of his work, and I like it too, so we both scored.

We drove around downtown for a while, just burning gas, looking around and doing some window shopping. Eventually we ended up seeing a flipped over Chevy Suburban. It was Jacalyn's first time to see one of them flipped completely over. It was sitting on its roof when we saw it, and the tow truck had apparently just arrived and started trying to get it back onto its wheels so it would be easier to tow. But I was quite hungry by this point, and it looked like it was as well under control as it could be, so I kept on going to the Chinese place for dinner. Eventually we came home and caught the last couple of songs of the Pioneer Day broadcast on the BYU channel. Now we finally get to rest, relax, listen to some Gershwin, and get some sleep.
